Where Travel Management Academy comes from
The academy is built on 20 years of experience in the tourism industry. It began as a simple idea: people who work in tourism need a place to build on what they know. The starting point was the basics of Amadeus GDS, the system in which air reservations are put together, and that foundation turned out to help anyone who manages travel. The courses were first tied to air transport and hotels. Today one programme is open, described further down this page. A wider overview of education is on the Academy page.
How learning works here
The academy is a set of standalone modules. Each covers one area of the work, so you do not have to sit through what you already know. You choose. That saves time for anyone who knows part of the job and wants to learn the rest in practice. A good example is Air Modul Basic. It combines theory and practice, and it ends with practical testing.

Who the academy is for
Picture yourself working in tourism and listening every day as colleagues talk about reservations and fares, following only half of the conversation because you have never seen what happens behind those words on the screen. Or you are planning such a career and want to see how it looks from the inside. The modules are meant for people like that: those who want to work in travel agencies, airlines, airports or tourism.
English is the only requirement. For Air Modul Basic, good English is needed. The programme is intensive and asks for attendance and concentration.
